Fiat Launches A Car Made in Algeria

Algeria’s automotive industry is revving up with the launch of the Fiat Doblò Panorama, a versatile and stylish leisure activity vehicle designed to meet the needs of Algerians. Produced at the Tafraoui plant in Oran, this new model marks Fiat’s continued commitment to the Algerian market.

A New Era for Algerian Manufacturing

The Fiat Doblò Panorama is the third model to roll off the production line at the Tafraoui plant, showcasing Algeria’s growing capabilities in the automotive sector. This launch not only strengthens Fiat’s presence in the region but also highlights Algeria’s potential as a hub for car manufacturing in North Africa.

The launch of the Fiat Doblò Panorama is a testament to the growing partnership between Fiat and Algeria. By producing vehicles locally, Fiat is not only meeting the needs of Algerian consumers but also contributing to the country’s economic development.

Engine and Performance: Power Meets Efficiency

Under the hood, the Doblò Panorama is equipped with a 1.6L gasoline engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission, delivering 115 hp. The vehicle comes equipped with an electronic stability control system (ESC), an anti-slip system (ASR), and front and side airbags.

Additionally, a fatigue detector helps ensure that drivers remain alert on long trips. These features make the Doblò Panorama one of the safest options in its class.

The Fiat Doblò Panorama is available in three stylish colors and will be marketed at a starting price of 3,349,000 DZD (approximately $25,000 USD). Starting February 19, 2025.
