Morocco to face Portugal in the world cup

Morocco to face Portugal in a world cup game for the 3rd time in world cup’s history. This come after a historic win for both countries. Morocco won against Spain after penalty shoot-outs, while Portugal thrashed Switzerland 6-1 on Tuesday December 6th in Qatar.

Morocco has played Portugal two times in previous world cups. Their last match was in the group stages in 2018 World cup when Morocco lost 1-0 against a Ronaldo-inspired team. In their previous match Morocco won 3-1 against Portugal in 1986 World cup.

Morocco vs Portugal is scheduled for a 3pm GMT kick-off on Saturday December 10, 2022.

The match will take place at Al Thumama Stadium in Qatar.
